As we explore the designated paths, ensuring no disturbance to the penguins' natural habitat, we will observe over 1,000 nests of the Magellanic penguins and approximately 9 nests of the Gentoo penguins, the only ones found in South America. This location provides an ideal habitat for penguins, with minimal predators, plentiful food, and soil and vegetation that offer suitable shelter for nesting and breeding.
Our guide will accompany us throughout the visit, providing insights into the lives of these remarkable seabirds and ensuring adherence to the island's conduct regulations.
Upon reaching the destination, we will utilize a semi-rigid zodiac boat to travel to the island. Following a 15-minute boat journey, we will explore the Gentoo and Magellanic penguin community during a 1-hour guided tour.
