Descripción del Tour
The adventure kicks off with a convenient transfer from Ushuaia hotels to the "Don Eduardo Arturo Brisighelli" Tourist Port, where we board our vessel. As we drift away from the shore, you'll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the entire city and its iconic structures, alongside a stunning blend of sea and mountains. Notable sights include Mount Olivia, Cinco Hermanos, Estancias Fique and Túnel, as well as the Encajonado River.
Next, our journey takes us to the Bridges Islands, where we'll disembark for a leisurely stroll. On this island nestled in the heart of the Beagle Channel, we aim to explore the following attractions:
- Yámanas Shell Farm: Near the dock, we encounter archaeological remains of the Yámanas or Yaganes settlements, the original inhabitants of the Beagle Channel. With our guide’s captivating stories, we delve into their world and envision their way of life.
- Island Flora Interpretation: We will traverse the interpretation circuit to admire the unique plants, flowers, and fruits thriving in this distinctive ecosystem.
We reboard and sail southwest, drawing near to Isla de Los Lobos. From the comfort of the boat, we observe these charming marine mammals, spending approximately 20 minutes watching the sea lions in their natural surroundings.
Our voyage continues towards Bird Island, home to Magellanic and Imperial Cormorants. This spot offers a prime vantage point for observing marine bird species.
The excursion proceeds to the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse within the namesake archipelago, where the wreck of the Monte Cervantes ship, which sank in 1930, can be seen.
Photography enthusiasts, rejoice! The catamaran will pause at all key attractions and perform several rotations, ensuring you capture the best snapshots of these stunning locales.
We begin our return to Ushuaia via Paso Chico, offering views of Estancias Túnel and Fique. Relish the magnificent vistas of the city from Monte Martial and its glacier.
