Descripción del Tour
At approximately 8:30 a.m., we will set off from your hotel in a minibus heading towards the Tierra Mayor Valley, situated around 20 km away from the city. As we begin our journey, we will equip ourselves with crampons or snowshoes at the shelter and embark on a trek across expansive snow-covered valleys, frozen streams, and ancient lengas and Coihues forests. There's always a chance to spot wildlife such as foxes, condors, and beavers along the way.
After nearly 2 hours, we will arrive at our destination: the Emerald Lagoon. This breathtaking landscape in the region is more than worth the effort put in to reach it.
Nestled in the heart of the Tierra del Fuego Natural and Landscape Reserve, the lagoon's vibrant waters, surrounded by glaciers and mountains of the Fuegian mountain range, offer an inviting spot to pause, relax, and capture stunning photos. It will also serve as our venue to enjoy a delightful lunch.
Once re-energized, we will begin our return journey to the refuge via an alternative route.
Finally, after another 2 hours of trekking, we will board the minibus once more to make our way back to Ushuaia.
