Upon landing at the Ushuaia airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel situated in the heart of the city.
The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.
Day 2
Trekking and Canoes
The excursion departs around 9 am from the hotel via minibus to Tierra del Fuego National Park, specifically targeting Ensenada Zaratiegui, where we’ll take in stunning views of the Beagle Channel, highlighted by the Redonda, Hoste, and Navarino islands.
We’ll embark on a trek along the Coastal Path, a seven-kilometer trail that reveals the diverse flora and birdlife of the Beagle Channel and the Fuegian forest, along with remnants of ancient Yámana settlements, indigenous to the area.
Upon concluding the approximately 3-hour walk, we’ll replenish with a traditional full lunch in a dome or tent.
After lunch, around 2 p.m., we’ll commence the canoe journey along the Lapataia River, leading us to our final destination, Lapataia Bay in the Beagle Channel, precisely where the Pan-American Route and National Route No. 3 conclude.

Day 4
4x4 Adventure
Escondido and Fagnano Lakes
After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll be picked up between 8 and 8:30 am for the journey to the Lakes. The minibus will take Route 3, which traverses part of the Fuegian mountain range and grants access to the Garibaldi Pass, a scenic viewpoint offering vistas of the tour’s targets, the Escondido and Fagnano lakes.
We’ll descend and divert from the route along old woodcutters’ trails. Land Rover trucks will take us to places otherwise inaccessible due to forest, mud, and stones. Lake Fagnano will amaze with its vastness and breathtaking landscape.
Around 12:30 pm, you’ll arrive at the shelter where a delectable Creole barbecue awaits.
After lunch and recharging your energy, the adventure continues with an exciting crossing of Lake Fagnano to reach an internal road leading to Lake Escondido, smaller in size but surrounded by an unparalleled natural setting.
