Yacht Navigation Through The Beagle Channel

After our meeting at the Ushuaia Tourist Pier, we will embark on a comfortable yacht, exclusive for our group. We will sail through the Beagle Channel to our first stop, Alicia Island, where we will observe a colony of one-haired sea lions. Then we head towards the Isla de los Pájaros, where the colonies of royal and imperial cormorants live together with their nests, being able to spot their chicks from spring to autumn. The diversity and quantity of fauna will leave us amazed.

We head east to another small island that, depending on the time of year, we will find two-haired sea lions. We will pass very close to the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, an authentic symbol of the city of Ushuaia, built in 1919. From there we will spot the island of rock cormorants birds.

On the way back, we will disembark at Bridges Island and walk through a flora and fauna interpretation trail, where we will also learn part of the history of the Yámanas aborigines. The largest anthropogenic shellfish in the region is found on this island.

After a short strech, we will touch the highest panoramic point which will allow us to have incredible views of the magnificent Beagle Channel with the City of Ushuaia in the distance and the background of the Andes Mountains.

We return sailing to the pier where our tour ends.

During the journey we share liqueur coffee, different varieties of tea, hot chocolate with sweet cookies and, of course, the typical Argentine mate.
