The tour sets off at around 8:30 AM from your hotel located in the heart of Ushuaia. From this point, we will journey to the Tierra Mayor valley, where our trek to the Esmeralda Lagoon will commence.
We will embark on a guided excursion through the enchanting Fuegian forests, passing by serene lakes, flowing rivers, and the breathtaking Andes Mountains, culminating at the Laguna Esmeralda, a glacial marvel. This lagoon is named for the distinctive color of its sediments, which originate from the Ojo de Albino Glacier. Here, we can pause to admire the magnificent scenery and capture stunning photographs.
Additionally, we will explore the intricate beaver dams, a remarkable system constructed by beavers along the stream, giving it its name.
After a trek lasting around 3 hours, we will arrive at a forest refuge, where we will savor a delightful box lunch as detailed in see menu.
By approximately 3:00 PM, we will return to our accommodation in the city center.
