Departing from your centrally located hotel, we will journey along National Route No. 3 towards the breathtaking Tierra del Fuego National Park.
Our first stop will be Ensenada Bay, offering stunning panoramic views of the Beagle Channel and its islands. Next, we will set sail towards Redonda Island. After a 15-20 minute voyage, we will reach this island, where you can enjoy views of the Beagle Channel and the National Park. Here, you have the option to explore trails of varying difficulty levels. Breathe in the fresh air of the Fuegian forest as you make your way to a viewpoint, ideal for capturing panoramic photos.
Following our exploration, we will board the boat to head back to Bahía Ensenada and continue our adventure in the National Park.
Surrounded by lenga forests and peat bogs, our journey leads us to Acigami Lake (formerly known as Lago Roca), a glacial lake spanning 5.50 square kilometers, encircled by majestic mountains and forests, and home to native bird species.
Just a short distance from Lake Acigami, we will visit the Alakush Visitor Center, where you will have approximately 20 minutes of free time. The center features a cafeteria, restaurant, restrooms, souvenir shop, and a small museum.
The final segment of our excursion takes us to Lapataia Bay, navigating through the cormorant archipelago and peat bogs. In Lapataia Bay, besides the rich marine coast teeming with mollusks and mussels, we will discover remnants of an ancient aboriginal settlement. There will be ample time to stroll along the walkway and capture stunning photographs.
From this point, the end of National Route No. 3, we will make our way back to Ushuaia.
