Descripción del Tour:

The adventure kicks off with a pickup truck in Ushuaia. As we journey along National Route 3, we traverse the picturesque Tierra Mayor Valley, eventually reaching the Garibaldi Pass. Throughout this approximately 50-minute drive, our guide enriches the experience with insights into the history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes around us. It's an ideal moment to savor some mates and unwind while taking in the scenery.
Once we arrive at the Garibaldi Pass, we pause to gear up for the trek. This hike, classified as easy, spans 4 kilometers and lasts a total of 3 hours round trip. While the path includes some inclines and rocky, muddy sections, the effort is rewarded with spectacular views of the mountain range. We ascend to the vegetation's edge, where we encounter the stunning twin lagoons and proceed to rock terraces that provide awe-inspiring vistas of Lakes Escondido and Fagnano.
At the summit, we indulge in a hot beverage and an alfajor, recharging before our descent. We then return to the van to continue our journey to Lake Escondido, a brief 15-minute drive away. Here, a mountain stew awaits us as we prepare the packraft boats, which come in single or double options, are stable, and easy to navigate. The lake crossing takes about an hour, offering a chance to connect with the water and the surrounding environment.
If weather conditions aren't suitable for paddling, we have an alternative plan. Instead, we'll embark on a hike to the Velo de Novia waterfall in the Olivia River area. This one-hour trek, though short, features steep sections and allows us to marvel at two waterfalls nestled among the rocks. We can even stand behind one to experience the powerful rush of the water.
After approximately 7 hours of adventure, we'll make our way back to the hotels in Ushuaia.
