Descripción del Tour:

The adventure kicks off with the collection of guests from their chosen accommodations.
The trek sets out from the Tierra Mayor Valley. The path guides us through native forests and peat bogs until we reach the stunning Laguna Esmeralda, our initial destination, after approximately an hour's walk. Here, we take a break to rest and soak in the breathtaking scenery.

Post-lagoon, the ascent commences on rocky terrain. This segment is the most challenging part of the journey, featuring a steady climb that spans about three hours. As we progress, we leave the forested area behind and find ourselves encircled by the majestic Andes Mountains, with their awe-inspiring peaks.

The path navigates us between walls tinged with orange until we arrive at a natural balcony, offering a view of the Laguna Esmeralda below and an expansive landscape in the distance. From this vantage point, we embark on the final ascent. Depending on the season, this section might require using your hands to navigate some challenging steps. A helmet and appropriate equipment are essential, with the guide always present to supervise and assist the group.

Ultimately, after approximately four and a half hours of trekking, we reach the glacier. We are welcomed by a 20-meter-high frontal wall, a green melting lagoon, and a distinctive environment. In winter, the lagoon freezes and is blanketed in snow, enabling you to walk to the glacier's base. Here, we enjoy lunch and seize the opportunity to relax, converse, and admire the vistas before retracing our steps along the same route.
