Our journey takes us to the stunning National Park, where the scenic Lake Acigami marks the start of our ascent. We will navigate its serene banks and venture into a lush primary lenga forest, progressing gradually until we surpass the vegetation line. At this point, the initial views of the lake and the majestic Chilean mountain range offer a tantalizing glimpse of the breathtaking landscape ahead.
We traverse a beautiful mallín as we tackle the final leg: a steep mountain path leading us to the summit. At an altitude of 900 meters, the vistas are truly spectacular. You’ll witness a vast horizon where the sea and mountains seamlessly converge. Weather permitting, we will relish a meal at the top, enveloped by this unparalleled setting.
By 12:40 p.m., we commence our descent along the same route. On our return journey, if time allows, we will pause at Ensenada Zaratiegui Bay, an exceptional viewpoint overlooking the Beagle Channel and Hoste Island.
